Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute Achieves IAC Vein Center Accreditation!

Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute, owned and operated by Dr. Robert Cutchen, has been granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Vein Center in the area of Superficial Venous Treatment and Management.

Accreditation by the IAC indicates that Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute has undergone an intensive application and review process and is found to be in compliance with the published Standards, thus demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care in vein treatment and management. Comprised of a detailed self-evaluation followed by a thorough review by a panel of medical experts, the IAC accreditation process enables both the critical operational and technical components of the applicant facility to be assessed, including representative case studies and their corresponding final reports.

“We are so proud to have achieved this highly respected Vein Center accreditation,” said Dr. Robert Cutchen. “Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of vein disease since 2009, our vein practice has proven that our 100% dedication to vein treatment, additional vein certifications in the diagnosis of vein disease achieved by myself, state-of-the-art lasers and completely patient-centric care provided by all practitioners here have all been major contributors to the positive patient outcomes achieved throughout the years. As the number of vein centers throughout the country continues to increase, I anticipate that these standards published by the IAC will serve as a resource for fostering elimination of the current confusion and inconsistency among practitioners in the vein treatment industry.”

More than 50% of Americans age 50 and older are affected by varicose veins. Varicose veins occur when the valves in the leg veins no longer function, causing blood to pool in the legs. In some cases, this condition progresses to a more serious form of venous disease called Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI). Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and management of the entire spectrum of vein disease at our state-of-the-art vein treatment center. All diagnostic testing, vein treatment and follow-up appointments are performed in the comfort and convenience of our practice.
