How Many Sessions With Accent Primeā„¢ Body Contouring Are Needed?

Unfortunately, small fat pockets and loose skin are often resistant to a healthy diet and active exercise program. If you want to address these issues without invasive treatments that include days of downtime, turn to the nonsurgical body contouring treatment we offer in Albuquerque – Accent Prime.Ā  Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute can give you a slimmer, smoother, more contoured appearance without downtime, pain or lengthy recovery time!Ā Ā

*Individual results may vary.

How Does Accent Primeā„¢ Work?

Accent Prime is the only system that combines ultrasound and radiofrequency (RF) technologies to achieve superior results to those of either technology on its own. This non-invasive 20 minute treatment disrupts the fat cells and produces new collagen at the same time, allowing patients to attain tighter, refreshed skin in addition to fat reduction and body contouring. Accent Prime features a combination of two types of Ultrasound technology to target fat cells and disrupt their membranes, leading to a gradual breakdown and release of stored fat.Ā  The damaged fat cells are then disposed of by the body through the lymphatic system.Ā

Using a unique Microplasma (RF) technology, the treatment also provides skin resurfacing by ablating and heating the targeted skin, leaving the surrounding skin intact and an overall smoother, tighter appearance. Accent Primeā„¢ is one of the only treatments that provides a solution for fat reduction plus cellulite.Ā Ā

How Many Sessions With Accent Primeā„¢ Are Needed?

Each person may need a different number of treatments depending on their goals, but most will need four to six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart for optimal results. Each treatment takes about twenty minutes. During your consultation, we will discuss your goals and expectations for treatment to determine our recommended number of sessions.Ā

What Results Will I See With Accent Primeā„¢?

You will see a reduction in fat and an increased tightness to the skin in the weeks following treatment.Ā  While some tightening may be immediately noticeable, the most noticeable results will develop throughout the weeks following treatment as the body removes fat cells and skin cells produce more collagen. This collagen will support and tighten the skin, leading to long-lasting results. The removed fat cells will never come back, but your results could change if you have a significant weight change.Ā

Am I a Good Candidate for Accent Primeā„¢?

Great candidates for Accent Prime are near their ideal weight but feel uncomfortable with small problem spots and desire to target areas such as their abdomen, thighs, hips, and arms. Using two different types of energy to target fat cells and tighten the skin, Accent Primeā„¢ treats both face and body with lifting and sculpting. You can see reduced fat and firmer skin to provide you with safe, FDA-cleared body contouring. Accent Primeā„¢ will not cause people to lose large amounts of weight but will remove enough to help reveal a contoured figure. This treatment works for anyone of any skin type and tone.Ā

Is There Any Downtime with Accent Primeā„¢?

You will have no downtime after the treatment and can go back to your usual activities. This makes Accent Primeā„¢ an excellent ā€œlunchtimeā€ treatment that people can schedule on a lunch break and return to work immediately. You may see some redness, but this will go away within a day or two.Ā
