Dermal Fillers
Restylane Albuquerque & Santa Fe

Dermal Fillers

The Restylane® family of dermal fillers provides ideal solutions for all your facial volume concerns.

Whether you need a durable yet natural filler for your cheeks or a subtle filler for the fine lines around your mouth, Restylane® has a formula designed to work in your problem areas and give you the best, most natural-looking results.

Restylane®, like many other popular dermal fillers available today, is made up of differently sized molecules of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring molecule in the body. It can work to add volume to the skin that can smooth out wrinkles and even make the skin appear more youthful. The added volume underneath the skin can make the areas appear plumper and produce a more rejuvenated look to the overall appearance of the face. Depending on your goals and concerns, your provider may choose one or more of the following:

Restylane® Kysse

Designed for use in the lips, this product provides smoothness, definition, and fullness without impairing the natural motions of your lips or hindering your normal facial expressions.

Restylane® Lyft

Approved to treat loss of volume on both the face and hands, this product has the viscosity to support areas of lost facial volume in the cheeks.

Restylane® Defyne

This robust filler can be used to add chin projection if you want a more defined profile.

Restylane® Contour

Designed to restore lost volume, contour the cheeks, and provide a softer facial appearance, this dermal filler can handle the challenging territory of the cheeks without hindering your natural expressions.

Hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in our skin, attracts water, keeping skin plump and hydrated. The hyaluronic acid molecules in Restylane® act the same way.

These molecules also signal the body to produce more collagen, the protein that gives skin its structure and support. As a result, the skin becomes fuller and more lifted while still looking and feeling natural.

Your provider will inject Restylane® into the skin of the treatment area. You may feel a small pinch from the needle. Depending on the size of the treatment area, treatment may last up to an hour.

If you want to add flexible, natural-looking fullness to areas of your face, you may be a good candidate. If you have any infection or sores on your face your provider may recommend waiting until they heal.

You can resume normal activities immediately. You may experience some bruising, swelling, or soreness, but these usually disappear within a few hours to a day.

Depending on the area of treatment, you should see improved fullness and volume, along with a natural appearance and normal facial expressions. Lines and wrinkles in treated areas will become smoother, and treated lips will look fuller and softer. The results of this type of treatment can last for long periods of time. Many can even see their results lasting for up to a year and sometimes longer. However, this is going to vary from person to person depending on a variety of factors.
