Is There Any Way to Get Rid of Visible Veins on My Nose?

Tiny red, blue, or purple spider veins on and around your nose can be infuriating for both men and women. These visible veins on your nose can rob you of your self-esteem and confidence, leaving you hiding from social situations and cameras. Typically caused by the aging process, sun damage, trauma to the area or certain skin conditions, these tiny veins can leave you feeling self-conscious, but eliminating them has never been simpler!

VeinWave Treatments

The VeinWave treatment is a gentle and effective treatment for these tiny, visible veins that involves minimal discomfort and no recovery time. This treatment uses a special thermocoagulation technology to close up these veins and to allow them to disappear. An ultra-thin, insulated needle is inserted into each of the veins and emits radiofrequency energy (heat) into the wall of the vein. This heat causes each vein to close and then it is absorbed by the body. Typical VeinWave treatments last around 20 minutes and are performed in the physician’s office. Patients typically require one-to-two treatments. With this being said, the number of treatments and the timing of these treatments will be determined during your consultation and will vary according to your own personal needs. With the treatment times being so short, many patients find it convenient to have the procedure performed on their lunch break or even on their way home from work before a busy evening begins.

What Results Will I See?

Immediately following the procedure, patients report noticeable improvements in the appearance of their veins. The red, blue, and purple coloring of the veins begins to fade immediately. The veins will continue to improve and fade away over the next several days until the closed veins are completely absorbed into the body. There is no bruising and no scarring with the VeinWave treatment. The great news is that there is no downtime at all. Following the treatment, patients will be asked to avoid the sun for a few days or to use a heavy sunscreen when exposed to the sun.
