Sclerotherapy Albuquerque & Santa Fe

Spider veins that appear on your legs are an aesthetic issue, but their effect on your confidence is nothing to ignore. If discolored spider veins have you covering up your legs, sclerotherapy may be the right solution for you. This treatment fades problem veins so you enjoy smooth, clear skin.

What is Sclerotherapy?

Sclerotherapy is an injectable treatment used to treat pesky spider veins. A sclerosing solution is injected directly into the small spider veins, and the solution causes damage to the vein’s inner walls. The treated vein collapses and fades away over time, erasing the appearance of your unwanted spider veins. Sclerotherapy is usually the preferred spider vein treatment.

Spider veins can be a visual nuisance, even though they may never cause you any pain. When they first appear on the legs or face, you may not think much about them, but as they expand across your body like a web of tiny red or purple lines, they can cause you to be embarrassed, less confident, and make you feel as though you should hide behind clothing or makeup. It is so important to take care of your physical health and that definitely includes caring for your veins. Sclerotherapy treatments have a very high success rate for treating spider veins, making this treatment the favorite of doctors and patients alike. Here is what you can expect after having sclerotherapy injections for your spider veins.
