Meet Dr. Robert Cutchen

In 2009, Dr. Cutchen founded Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute, a clinic dedicated solely to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. His goal was to provide the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options all in the comfort of his office without the need for hospitalization. Our goal is to treat every patient the way we ourselves would hope to be treated.

Collagen loss and environmental factors can lead to signs of aging on your skin. Fine lines and wrinkles affect almost everyone eventually. How Can I Reduce Fine Lines and Wrinkles Without Surgery?

You have numerous options for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. We offer several choices so we can find one that meets your needs and suits your lifestyle.  While Botox and dermal fillers certainly smooth fine lines and wrinkles and treat volume loss, the results are temporary and require ongoing injections. The results of laser treatments tend to be long-lasting with proper skincare and maintenance and, in addition to building collagen and elastin, also address signs of aging with skin texture and tone, making them our favorite facial rejuvenation option.

Opus™ Plasma Skin Resurfacing

This treatment uses radiofrequency and plasma energy to create areas of controlled damage. This process triggers cellular renewal. Your skin responds with new collagen production that tightens the skin to smooth lines and wrinkles.  Most patients require a series of three treatments, although you will notice some results after the first treatment.

ClearLift™

The gentle but effective ClearLift™ laser treats mild or early signs of aging. These include fine lines, pigmentation issues, and signs of sun damage. This treatment causes no injury to the skin’s surface for no downtime or discomfort, and also requires a series of treatments.

Is There Downtime After Treating Fine Lines and Wrinkles?

Our line and wrinkle treatment options have little to no downtime. ClearLift™ is very gentle and involves no downtime. Opus™ Plasma downtime will vary depending on the intensity of your treatment and may include a few days of minor redness or swelling. 

Am I a Good Candidate for Fine Line and Wrinkle Treatment?

We can help anyone reduce their fine lines and wrinkles. Most people make good candidates for facial treatments or injectables.
