Meet Dr. Robert Cutchen

In 2009, Dr. Cutchen founded Albuquerque Vein & Laser Institute, a clinic dedicated solely to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. His goal was to provide the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options all in the comfort of his office without the need for hospitalization. Our goal is to treat every patient the way we ourselves would hope to be treated.

How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

Restylane® dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid. This large molecule is found naturally in the skin and is essential in attracting and maintaining hydration. Each Restylane® formula uses a different arrangement of hyaluronic acid to change its properties. As a result, the family has a filler appropriate for almost any part of the face.

How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?

Dermal filler costs vary depending on what type of dermal filler you have. Prices also vary by location and provider. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of a hyaluronic acid filler like Restylane® is $684. Most filler prices are listed as a price per syringe, and you may need more than one syringe for your treatment. 

What Dermal Filler Options Do I Have?

The Restylane® family of dermal fillers contains several fillers targeted toward different facial features. Differences in the formula result in different properties for each Restylane® filler. 

Restylane® Contour

This long-lasting filler replaces lost volume in difficult areas like the cheeks. It balances durability and flexibility to make it a versatile way to contour the features. 

Restylane® Lyft

While it works for enhancing facial volume and filling lines and wrinkles, this filler has also been approved for use on the backs of the hands to replace lost volume. 

Restylane® Defyne

This resilient filler can add volume and profile to the cheeks, chin, and other parts of the face. It lasts longer than many other fillers, up to a year or more. 

Restylane® Kysse

This smooth, flexible lip filler gives you natural-looking fullness that moves with your facial expressions and may last up to a year.

Is There Any Downtime With Dermal Fillers?

Dermal filler injections take about ten to fifteen minutes, and you can return to your regular activities afterward. Some people notice small areas of swelling or bruising in the injection area. These effects resolve within a day or two. 

Am I a Good Candidate for Dermal Fillers?

Since hyaluronic acid is well-tolerated by the body, most people make good candidates for Restylane® dermal fillers. Dermal fillers may offer a solution if you have volume loss or lines and wrinkles. You might not be a good candidate if you have ever had an adverse reaction to hyaluronic acid products.
